I got this for my boyfriend. He loves the color, style, and comfort. The glow function and the date display are nice, and the band seems very sturdy. Plus, it held up great sea kayaking! He's only had it 2 weeks, so I can't speak for it's longevity, but so far so good!

Great watch; however, be careful when you order due to color. This watch appears black in the pictures but it is actually gray and the band has a greenish tint to it. I wanted all black and Timex makes one.

TIMEX - Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. And they were serious about the ticking. As far as simple watches go, this watch is perfect. It accurately keeps time and sure enough when I wake up in the morning the date has changed to the proper date. What I did not know I was getting is a watch that also serves as a metronome. Seriously, if this watch was as large as Big Ben is, all of Europe would be able to hear the movement of the second hand. On the positive side, once you wear the watch for a while you stop noticing the sound of the movement. That is until someone across the room asks you if you also hear a ticking sound.

It's another fine time piece from the company known for durable watches Timex. Band a bit stiff as it is new but will break in over time. Have not tested it's water resistance claims but if it anything like the previous Timex watches I have owned it should do just swimmingly.

This watch seems well built and durable. Looks stylish, has a date function, dial easily seen at night when pressing the set button, strap is durable (not plastic, however not yet able to determine the life span). Compared to the others like Casio(which I had previously) it is a bit large. Fits nice on the hand but not the thinnest of watches. Lightweight for the size.
Again, for the price you can't go wrong.
